| [atrb=border,0,true] Alphonse loved being back in Risembool. Sure, it was a bit strange to go from wandering around the country in a suit of armour, only to save the country later, to... well, taking a walk in the countryside in his entirely human - if not still a bit skinny and weak - body, but he loved every minute of it.
He supposed that someone who didn't know his story (and not very many knew the full extent), it might seem odd to see him walking around in the grass, barefoot, thoroughly enjoying just feeling. He wondered briefly if he'd ever get over how wonderful it was to physically feel things and eat and sleep.
As it was, it was nearing lunchtime, and that would mean going home to make some lunch - his appetite was always immense come mealtimes. Ed had gone into town to buy something or other for the house, so Alphonse headed home on his own.
He was a bit shocked to find the door unlocked, but figured that Granny or even Ed must have beaten him home - that is, until he walked into the kitchen. "Winry!" he exclaimed. "When did you get back?" He wasted no time in enveloping his friend in a hug, temporarily forgetting about lunch.
