8 August 1916 Dear Diary, I just got word that I'm being given a week off to go to Central! Finally, something to do. Riza and I definitely have to catch up, and I'll probably stop by and visit Havoc, too. Oh, and I guess I'll have to visit Mustang's team, but I'll try to do it when Mustang himself isn't there. This should be fun, though. I leave on the 18th. [/blockquote]

18 August 1916 Dear Diary, Right now I'm double-checking my bags to make sure that I have everything that I need for my trip to central. I managed to get an entire week off, which isn't surprising, considering my amazing feminine techniques.
So Riza's trying to convince me to go out with Havoc, which I'm... actually sort of torn about. I mean, he's a nice guy, he's certainly no coward... but, well... back when he was stationed at Eastern Command, anyway, he'd get really attached to his girlfriends, and I don't need that. Besides, then we'd have to do long distance while I try to get transferred, and what can I say? I love the steamy nights, and would rather be having sex with my hypothetical boyfriend than write him a letter. Hm... I wonder what Havoc's like in bed... Surely he can't top at the moment, because from what I've heard, he's probably not strong enough for that. That could be fun, though.
...Why am I thinking about that? I'm not going to go out with the man. Still, I guess it doesn't hurt to wonder...
Riza still refuses to admit that she's madly in love with Mustang. Typical. I guess that I can't really expect anything different from her. She's trying to convince herself that there's some other reason that her life revolves around the man. I don't understand why. I mean... don't get me wrong, I think that they should just admit that they're in love and have sex already, but... Riza could do so much better. Ah, I suppose the heart wants what the heart wants.
I should probably get back to packing... [/blockquote]

22 August 1916 Dear Diary, I'll never understand why Riza thinks that Havoc is up to my standards. Sure, he's nice and decently hot attractive, but he's not rich. If I'm going to leave the military for a man, he'd better be filthy rich! Havoc definitely is not. I do have standards, and, one day, I'll find a man that'll meet them.
Then again, I am already twenty-seven. Most men don't want a woman over thirty. Maybe giving Havoc a chance isn't such a bad idea. He is incredibly nice and pretty polite. He's not a coward like most of the men in Central, either.
I don't know. I'll have to think about it. [/blockquote]

1 November 1916 Dear Diary, It's been a while since I've written, hasn't it? East City is so dull that I really haven't had much to write about. There really wasn't anything terribly exciting that happened on my trip to Central City, but I was busy enough to forget to write. Mostly, I just spent some time with Riza, went shopping, and bothered Mustang -- oh, wait, I didn't tell you about that, did I? I didn't really do much; I just popped into his office to ask him when he was planning on proposing to my best friend. His reaction was hilarious, which made Riza's glare completely worth it.
Anyway, I'm off to work. I'm seriously considering applying for a transfer soon. We'll see. [/blockquote]
