20;]HISTORY. Selena was born in Amestris to two half
Xingese parents, making her half Xingese. Her father was
Half Xingese and half Amestrian, and he mother was Xingese
and Cretain. The family lived a normal life in Amestris. They
had a nice little home in west close to the northern border.
She never had wan for anything because her parents tried to
give her an easy happy child’s life, to make up for the fact
that her father was absent half of the time. Her father was
in the military and way always gone for one reason or
another, but when he was around he spoiled his little girl.
Her mother was a little more strict, but not much, as
Selena was a very placid child.
In 1905 her father was called off to help with the rebellion
in Ishval. In the time her father was gone Selena started
experimenting with alchemy, hoping to have something to show
to her father when he came back. They would get letters from
him every month or so and would respond back with news of
what was happening in the west and Selena's alchemy. But
slowly months turned into years and the letters came fewer
and fewer with more disturbing news till they just stopped.
The final letter they received was in 1908 that her father
had been Killed in battle with an Ishvalen rebel. Even when
her father was sent back home for his funeral Selena refused
to believe it and would shut herself up in her room for
hours trying to work on her alchemy so she could impress her
father when he finally returned.
It took her almost a year and a half after her died for her
to finally accept her was not coming home. After that she
grew almost more placid, she would go to school, come home,
eat practice alchemy then got to sleep, almost robotic. She
went on like that till she had finished school and was old
enough to go to the military Academy. In that she seemed to
wake up out of her stupor and become alive again. After she
graduated she took her state alchemist exam and surprisingly
passes. Most recently after receiving her title as a state
alchemist she was transferred up to the north the serve at
fort Briggs where her ice and water based alchemy would
serve the most use.[/div]

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE. Selena had fallen asleep reading again. She had not even made it to her sleeping quarters that night. Prying her face of the book she had rested head on. The library was only lit by the small gas light she had brought with her earlier. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes she looked around, hoping no one else was in there to see her. She did not think so, but she could never be to careful. She did not want to get in trouble, she was still the new kid hear, and she wanted to keep her nose clean. Gathering up the books in her arms she put them back where there had been on the book case and took her notes and stored then in her bag.
Grabbing the gas light she made her way out of the library and down the dark corridors. It was only about one or two in the morning, so most would probably be asleep, there where always guards some places. Being so early it was very notable that the temperature had dropped quite a few degrees than when she had first dozed off. Selena liked the cold weather, but it was almost two cold. Rubbing her arms with her hands she tried to warm up as she made her way to room where she slept. While she was trying to warm up a bit she didn’t notice the form of a person till she smacked into them and landed on her butt. "Ouch, watch it." she mumbled rubbing her backside.[/div]
