After the phone calls stopped he had sent Risa on a small business errand for him. That was a hour ago so, he wondered what had happened as he got up from his chair a went over to the window. When he had only being looking out for a moment the phone on his desk began to rang loudly. " Hello Brigadier-General Mustang" he said in a professionalized tone. After being the lime was quite for more than a couple minutes he hung and went back to looking out the window. Outside the window he could see many people coming and going from the man building. Errands.
"And nothing to do with work, too' Riza mused, but in silence, one hand full of paperwork and the other with a bag of lunch. Not her own, she had come to work prepared, like nearly every day since she had started her job. It was a wonder someone could be working somewhere for years and "forget" to pack a lunch for themselves.
However, there had been papers to deliver, ones that needed to get somewhere sooner than postage could, so her trip wasn't completely pointless. And sometimes, it was nice to get out of the office.

She glanced up at the sky as she started ascending the steps, giving a light sigh. It was a nice day out, and the all around mood of the town seemed to be fairly cheerful. Everyone she had interacted with had seemed pleasant, whether that had been the day's doing or not.
Once she reached the office, she used her elbow to turn the handle, and stepped in to see her boss sitting innocently at his desk.
Innocently meaning guiltily.
"I'm back, sir" she said, though it was obvious, placing the bag of food on his desk and the papers after it, "I trust you've gotten a lot of work done?"
