FEARS. That she’ll lose her friends, That war will break out (in either Amestris, Ishval, or Xing), that Ling will not keep his promises about the Clans SKILLS. Master of Alkahestry, knows Martial Arts, Can sense the aura of humans HISTORY. Born to the Xing Emperor and the royal concubine of the Chang house, Mei has known her whole life that she had to bring glory back to the Chang Clan. As one of the contenders for the throne, and thus subject to many assassination attempts, she learned Alkahestry and Martial Arts early, proving that she was very skilled in those areas. At the young age of twelve, she was sent out to find immortality, in a way to bring her Clan to the top and possibly succeed her father on the throne. After saving a miner, she is informed of the great Alchemical prowess of Edward Elric, and immediately falls in love with the image that she has conjured of him. He would be willing to help her, right? Unfortunately, her imagination was completely off, a fact which ticked her off, but, thankfully, she found out that Alphonse was much nicer than his brother and quite possibly everything she had imagined Edward to be, and so the Princess grew to like him, instead. In her traveling with Scar and Doctor Marcoh, Mei, once the true source of the Philosopher’s Stone was revealed it her, decided to stop seeking it. Yes, she would be failing in her task set out for her, and yes, she would have to find another way to bring her Clan glory, but that was just inhumane. Even after she and Dr. Marcoh had captured and defeated Envy, the Princess refused to return back to Xing, after some deliberation, feeling as though she should help her friends in Amestris. Thus, she fought in the Promised Day battle (as well as a few occurring before that), and against Father. At one point, with his request, Mei helped Alphonse sacrifice himself, though it was with much reluctance, and then with much relief when she saw him restored to his former body. Unfortunately, the thirteen-year-old was taken back to Xing by Ling, leaving her Amestrian friends behind. Though she did return to Amestris once, to see Alphonse while he was recovering, and has stayed in touch via letters (though considering that it takes quite a bit to travel between Xing and Amestris, they are few and far between), Mei has missed the country and her friends very much, and can’t wait to see them all again, as soon as she can. FACE CLAIM. Mei Chang of FMAB ROLEPLAY SAMPLE. Mei was absolutely, a hundred percent, completely bored. She couldn’t do anything right now! There were no more assassination attempts, either made by her or on her, ever since Ling had become Emperor, so that was off the checklist. The princess was not allowed to do Alkahestry for a week, according to the leaders of her Clan, as she had blown up a wall the other. It wasn’t her fault, though! She had been experimenting with a new type of circle! And then, of course, Xiao-Mei was being a traitor, and off to find food. Normally she would be right with her best friend, but she definitely wasn’t hungry. And besides, if she ate too much, she might gain weight, and then she’d never get a husband! Who would want a fat wife? …Well, Alphonse was such the gentleman that he wouldn’t say anything, but she still didn’t think he’d like it. Ah, her Prince Charming, Alphonse. It had been so long since she had seen him, or any of her friends from Amestris, for that matter, and she missed them all. Mei had just sent off a reply to his letter not that long ago, but it would take forever for her to get a response back! She hated the desert, at times like this. …That was it! “Xiao-Mei!” she called, hopping up from her perch on her windowsill and beginning to put a bag together. Screw the stupid Ling and his stupid rules, and her stuffy old clan, she was going to Amestris! MY NAME IS VIET AND I'VE BEEN BREATHING AIR FOR 16 YEARS. I'VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR FOUR. MY OTHER CHARACTER'S ARE ABSOLUTELY NONE. |
