Marie Simone Moreau This is Simone, personal physician to the King of Creta and number one fan of Prince Mathieu of Creta. For a full biography, click here. I am up for anything (though the more drama the better~), so feel free to get crazy.

Mathieu & SimoneWell, right now, Mathieu's father has just fallen ill and he's sort of freaking out over the fact that 1. his father might actually die and 2. he might have to become king sooner than he'd thought. We can thread Simone trying to talk to him and Mathieu blowing her off, or we can get to the subplot itself and sort of ignore the fact that we don't have a king or queen yet. it's up to you. Also, if you haven't noticed (I think i'm the only one who has), the subplot is based off of Shakespeare's "All's Well That Ends Well."

Mathieu&Simone I actually did notice. The name Helena came to mind when I was naming her and then I remembered the play and thus I changed my mind, haha...
We can start out with a simple introductory thread. Obviously, they know each other, but this way we can figure out their groove and dynamic before we get to the bigger stuff.
Are you willing to deviate slightly from the subplot?

Simone & MathieuYou did? :D You are like the only other person I've ever met who's read it. My theatre teacher, whose husband is apparently one of the top 15 Shakespeare experts on the east coast hadn't even read it when I mentioned it. I mean, I'm pretty sure he has, but still. I was like "Wait. Creta is pretty much France in fanon. IDEA. :D"
That works for me! D'you want to start or shall I? I have to admit that I'm rather horrible at thread naming, but my starters themselves aren't that bad
Deviate how? The answer will probably be yes, but still. XD

Mathieu&SimoneWell, I saw it performed by a local theater company not too long ago, so it was still pretty fresh in my mind, haha. And I don't mind starting. I'm a touch rusty, so I can get back into the swing of things this way.
Okay, so it would be the same up until the marriage part. As in, Simone will save the king and announce she wants to marry Mathieu and he's all not into it. She'll have this big epiphany moment that she's make her ~true love~ unhappy and ultimately herself for marrying a person who doesn't love her back and she could be happier in life and blahblahblah. So she'll call off the wedding, like mid-walk down the aisle and have this big speech for Mathieu. At first he'd be stoked but then it would bother him that a commoner didn't want to marry him and this is about as far as I've gotten.

Simone & MathieuThat's actually rather interesting. I'll definitely have to consider it. Honestly, the All's Well That Ends Well end is kind of... :\ This ending would make more sense with Mathieu, considering that he isn't a complete jackass like Bertram.

Mathieu&Simone Righto. I didn't think Mathieu would be the type to dare a girl to get pregnant by him, haha. And Simone definitely isn't the type to trick someone like Helen does. We'd have to work out the kinks, obviously. We have time before we decide whether or not they eventually get married or whatever else we do with the two of them.
