Puts on her best smile
But underneath she's a broken girl
Well, it was just another one of those annoyingly normal days. Abagail bagged people's groceries, rolled her eyes at their reactions to her -- which she was used to but personally didn't understand -- and really just wondered why she even bothered getting out of bed in the morning. It being a weekend and all, it was reasonable to her that she be in a bad mood. There was no school, and yet she had to get up in the morning for work? And it didn't help the fact that she was already usually grumpy. After all, Abby plus early morning equals trouble. And it wasn't because she actually wanted trouble either.
She just hated mornings.
In fact, if she thought about it, she could probably make a list of things she hated and avoid them. But that was something smart people, and Abagail wasn't going to kid herself into that category. She just avoided the things she hated most, and lived with it. Of course, one of the good things about getting up in the early morning for work, was that she got off relatively early as well. It was early afternoon, and she was free from all responsibilities. It wasn't her turn for shopping -- she was certain Kagura was having a panic attack in some store already -- and let's face it, her and homework didn't mix very well. Not at these hours any way, she was a 'last minute' type of person.
And so, free as a bird, Abagail wandered aimlessly along the streets of Central. Really, she didn't like this place -- too much military crawling around -- but they had to live here. With Zakuro being a registered State Alchemist, it made sense that they live here. Abagail didn't really like it, and she constantly made that well known to her siblings, but she lived here anyway. A testament to her loyalty if nothing else. Her sisters were the most important thing in her life, and there was no way she was going to give them up for anything. They'd probably be lucky to get rid of her though; but the idea was something she scoffed at secretly. They wouldn't be able to get rid of her for any extended amount of time, not if she had anything to say about it.
And when didn't she have something to say about it?
